I've said it once and I'll say it again: I love seeing the signature prints emerge from the big brands every season. How fun would it be to be the person who looks at the work of presumably hundreds of talented designers and pick their favorite to be used in future items? I'm sure it's as stressful as it is fun, but still. So far this season I'd have to say my favorite is Baby Dior's tulip print. It is so soft, sophisticated, classic, beautiful... the list goes on. I'm also loving the white stick detailing you can see in various parts (like around the edges of the pattern itself on the dress and romper). Reason #19829845 why I love Baby Dior. Find all of these and more at Children Salon.

Baby Dior Tuxedo Shortall
Oh my goodness. I do believe that if I ever saw a little guy running around in one of these at a wedding or event, I may pass out from the cuteness. With this tuxedo shortall, Baby Dior does a fabulous job combining the classic bubble onesie shape with the form of a tiny wool tux. Complete with polo collar and faux pockets, I can almost picture a pocket watch chain dangling around somewhere. The back even has a false flap so it actually looks like your dapper little guy is wearing a vest. Loving everything about it. Find yours for $346.00 at Saks.

Posh Baby Toys from Dior
One of the things I love the most about Baby Dior is the wide variety of products that make up their line. It's not just clothes, it's bottles, gifts, toys, blankets. These two little guys are new for 2012: a cotton teddy and bunny, both holding a little blanket. Supposedly, if you sleep with these yourself for a few nights, your natural scent will be absorbed by these sweet stuffed animals, then comforting your baby when they sleep with them at night. Kind of a neat idea right? 100% cotton and machine washable, find these for $90.00 each at Children Salon.

Dolce & Gabbana Junior Silk Chiffon Butterfly Dress
Oh my goodness. How many people just found the perfect Easter dress for their daughter? Everything about this gorgeous silk and chiffon is light, springy, and whimsical. I am loving how Dolce & Gabbana is using the same beautiful watercolor-style for the butterflies that we saw in this lovely dress that Baby Dior debuted last year. Normally I am not a huge fan of mass amounts of ruffles, but with this dress they work. Accessorizing this leaves an endless amount of possibilities. Love love love. Find this dress for $376.00 at Children Salon.

Another Expensive Bib from Baby Dior
Is it just me or is everyone turning up pregnant lately? I feel like my entire Facebook news feed from my personal page is filled with those strange baby updates that shows what week people are in and if their baby looks like a dinosaur or an actual human being. "Jill is at 22 weeks!" "Abby is at 12 weeks!" I mean is the entire world pregnant except for me? Maybe I can make a recommendation for my more financially sound friends, with the $82.00 baby bib from Dior. $82.00! Wonders never cease. It is tax return season, so if you are lucky enough to have some extra cash, you can find this at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Baby Dior Red Pleated Bubble Dress
WOW! I am loving this change from the normal soft pastels and patterns we usually see from Baby Dior. I am a huge fan of red. Red clothes, shoes, accessories, paint, pictures, just not cars. Randomly. Do not like red cars. But anyway, new from Baby Dior, here we have a stunning red silk bubble dress with sweet little pleats and enough ruffles to give it that special girly flair. I love how this dress could be great for Valentine's Day, the holidays (even though they have passed), or even a summer dress if paired with the right accessories and shoes. A break from the ordinary is always so wonderfully refreshing. Find this sweet dress and bloomers set for $394.00 at Children Salon.

New Baby Dior Sunhats
Oh lord... it's a bit hard to imagine a day where you will need these right now, isn't it? This is the part of winter that I dread. One of my affirmations for 2012 (I'm not doing resolutions, because those tend to fail) is to not let the winter blues get me this year. I can still enjoy things and live and laugh and be happy. Never mind that January, February, and March are miserable. I will make my own bliss! So anyway, here we have two of Baby Dior's amazing sunhats, new for Spring/Summer 2012. If you can't pick a favorite, why not get both? They are even machine-washable, so they are safe for a day of outdoor play and dirt. Find both for $89.00 each at Children Salon.

Designer Bibs Are Expensive.
I mean, it's not like that is a big shock or anything. The idea of a designer bib still kind of boggles my mind because, well, babies destroy bibs. I keep picturing this beautifully constructed and detailed bib by Baby Dior smeared with baby food carrots. And peas. And sweet potatoes. Better have plenty of Oxy Clean on hand, because it would be a crime to keep this bib looking anything but pristine. Why? It costs $53.00. Find yours at Children Salon.

New Baby Dior Prewalker Shoes!
Not gonna lie... half the fun of Baby Dior shoes can be found in the suitcase gift box they come in. I would probably use it as a makeup case, or to carry hair accessories while I am traveling. Or maybe even a lunch box? I don't know why, but I have always loved old-fashioned suitcases. Ever seen the movie (or read the amazing book first for that matter) White Oleander? The suitcases that Astrid made at the very end which depict the different phases of her life have been a little obsession of mine for a while. If you haven't seen the movie (or read the book), I highly recommend both. Amazing. So back to the adorable little shoes that come inside the suitcase. They are made of soft leather and lined with soft toweling. I like them because they will match a lot of things. Not that that really matters with baby shoes, but still. They are sporty and fun and could go with a preppy sweater or a track suit. Find them for $145.00 at Children Salon.

Baby Dior Star Bib = Expensive.
The fact that Baby Dior is all over the star print this Fall/Winter season still has not gotten any less exciting for me. And in this bib, the stars might as well be inlaid with gold, because this thing is EXPENSIVE! For $95.00, this cotton bib comes embellished with a huge white bow laid out like a tuxedo-style collar (I bet food will love to trap itself in there) and an all-over star/splatter pattern. Adorable, but probably not something I would splurge on. Find it at Saks!

Pricey Pants!
Right now I am watching a TV show I DVR'd entitled "How the Lottery Changed My Life." Anyone ever seen it? It makes you want to play the lottery because these people are just average people who go to work every day. Some buy a lottery ticket on a whim and tell of the moment they realized they had the winning numbers. I took a philosophy class in college and one thing I remember the professor talking about is The Lottery Paradox. If one million people play the lottery, most likely every single one of them will be saying to themselves, "I will not be the winner." But someone has to be the winner. I don't know; lately my day job has been making me so miserable that I fantasize about being one of those lottery winners ALL THE TIME. Anyway, here are some new pants from Baby Dior. Made from lush burgundy velour, these little pleated pants tie with a velour ribbon and have the Dior logo embroidered by the waistline. They also cost $239.00, a small fortune for a pair of infant's pants. Maybe when I win the lottery, I can buy these for a friend. See more details at Lavish Kids.

A Very Expensive Dior Hat.
No really, this hat is retailing for $209.00. Sometimes I think about people with excessive amounts of money, particularly celebrities. I think about what they spend their money on: $500,000.00 shopping trips, multiple cars, personal trainers and chefs and drivers... it's almost disgusting. I'm not saying they don't work hard and don't deserve the money, but it's just funny to me that what they can spend in a day is significantly more than what I make in a year. Oh well... maybe someday I will strike it rich! So yes, back to this insanely expensive hat. It is lined with fleece and trimmed with real rabbit fur. Don't how how I feel about that, as I have a particular affection for bunnies, but it is a cute hate nonetheless. If you have $209.00 just laying around, this can be yours, found at Lavish Kids.

Baby Dior's New 2011 Print: STARS!!!
So maybe I am not quiet about my random extreme fondness for anything involving stars. After last years Medallion print from Baby Dior was such a smashing hit, I was wondering what we would see gracing their new items for the upcoming season. Much to my pleasant surprise, it is a classic favorite: stars. And what I also love about this new print is that is comes in both pink and blue (as far as I know, there was never a boy version of the Medallion print). I found the star print on the new Dior baby buntings with their cute little peaked hoods. These can be found for a massive $359.00 at Lavish Kids.

Another Beautiful Dress from Baby Dior
Question of the hour: which season is this dress best suited for in your opinion? I feel like I am seeing a lot more multi-seasonal items than usual lately. The whimsical flowers on this Baby Dior dress make me think spring or summer, the soft colors make me think fall, and the velvet bows and wool blend material make me think winter. I think this is a great thing though, because when you are buying a designer dress that costs a truckload of money, it would be nice to be able to stretch it out between a couple different seasons! I am having a hard time accessorizing this one in my mind, just because of the multitude of options. Oh, and the price? $246.00, at Children Salon.

Baby Dior Pink Jersey Dress
It is one of those days where it is too hot to do anything. My coworker and I often "go to the dumpster," a.k.a. take an unnecessary trip to the dumpster outside of our office in order to throw away a piece of paper or something like that, just to get out of the building. The dumpster is only about 50 feet away. We were sweating when we returned from our venture today. It is nearly impossible for me to even look at all of the fall and winter items that are emerging onto the scene. It's painful to think about wool and fleece when it is 105 degrees outside. So how about a light little jersey dress from Baby Dior? A simple design with pleated sleeves and rose lace on the chest is plenty airy enough to keep your baby cool on even the hottest of days. Find this for $144.00 at Children Salon.

More Very Expensive Designer Toys
What can you really say about something like this? What baby has a set of blocks (if you can call four blocks a set) that spell out a famous French designer's name? I am guessing these might be more of a decorative piece rather than a toy, which is fine because you can't really spell much with four letters. What if you lose the I? Then you can only spell "ROD." I have always had an odd fascination with designer toys, just cause. They are kind of neat, kind of crazy. At least each block makes different sounds: they squeak, rattle, and rustle. Grab yours for $116.00 at Children Salon.

Baby Dior Tights with Pom Poms
This is another one of those eye-popping luxury items that just makes you say, "Really??" These soft white cotton tights from Baby Dior have the little logo at the bottom and little white pom poms at the top. Apparently these embellishments warrant a $95.00 price tag. If the tights cost that much, what about the dress and shoes? Maybe for some, these tights could be that one impulse buy, like the one bag that some of us have that we carry so proudly. I don't know that many people would choose a pair of tights as theirs though... better stick with something more showy, and leave these for the people who have the money to spend on them. See more incredible luxuries at Lavish Kids.

The Three C's from Baby Dior: Classic, Cotton, Clean.
I am so happy to see a dress like this from Baby Dior. Every season, designers come out with new themes, colors, patterns, signature touches that set them apart from the rest and make them recognizable from miles away. Because that's what is important, right? Most people who buy a Dior dress for their child want people to actually recognize it as a Dior dress. So amidst all of that mess, I get very excited to see dresses like this one: a beautifully classic and timeless white cotton dress. My favorite part, of course, is the delicate eyelet that embellishes the bottom of the pleats on either side. Even the logo incorporation is tasteful: a small charm on the front. Gorgeous. Find this for $229.00 at Lavish Kids.

The Perfect White Sandals!
While continuing on through Children Salon's latest additions, I saw these Baby Dior sandals and think that they are a perfect match for this Fendi dress that I just talked about. They are white white white, airy, and classic. For $109.00, they also come inside a cute little suitcase gift box.
