Roberto Cavalli's Fall 2012 Floral

Roberto Cavalli floral onesie

Roberto Cavalli floral zip-up jacket

Roberto Cavalli floral baby changing mat

Roberto Cavalli floral infant's bubble dress
Alright, so we all know I went a little ballistic over Roberto Cavalli's peony pattern this past spring. But then again, who didn't? It was such an amazing and refreshing break from their usual (but fabulous) leopard print and ruffles. For fall 2012, Cavalli has done it again with yet another amazing floral pattern. The colors are so rich and warm, and I love the gold-toned ornate details that is tangled up among the flowers. Like the peony pattern was, you can find this pattern on everything from baby bags to rain coats and you can find them ALL at Children Salon.

Very Expensive Onesies.

Oooooh what it would be like to have disposable money. Sometimes it is difficult to read about celebrities who spend five figures on one piece of clothing while sometimes I find myself eating Hot Pockets for dinner because they were on sale two for $3 at the grocery store. Oh well. Again, I feel like if I could always afford to buy everything, I would probably get bored and not appreciate things as much as I do now. That being said, how about $250.00 onesies? The pretty top one is a soft cashmere from Burberry, classically adorable with pearly button closures. The bottom belted onesie is from Gucci, complete with a peter pan collar and little embroidered teddy bear on the chest. That one is actually a bit more pricey, at $265.00. I can understand the price tag (kind of) on the cashmere one, but that much for a cotton onesie?? Madness. It is pretty cute though. Find both at Saks!

Beautiful Simplicity: Baby Dior's Tulip Print

I've said it once and I'll say it again: I love seeing the signature prints emerge from the big brands every season. How fun would it be to be the person who looks at the work of presumably hundreds of talented designers and pick their favorite to be used in future items? I'm sure it's as stressful as it is fun, but still. So far this season I'd have to say my favorite is Baby Dior's tulip print. It is so soft, sophisticated, classic, beautiful... the list goes on. I'm also loving the white stick detailing you can see in various parts (like around the edges of the pattern itself on the dress and romper). Reason #19829845 why I love Baby Dior. Find all of these and more at Children Salon.

Petunia Pickle Bottom Now Makes Baby Clothing!

Yes! I have been waiting for these to come out and the time has finally arrived! Petunia Pickle Bottom has always been a favorite when it comes to baby bags; the crazy beautiful patterns and colors can be recognized most anywhere. Now, you can get all of that colorful goodness in their baby clothes as well! From onesies to blankets to cute little hats, I think I am loving the patterns on the clothing more than I love the ones on the bags, if this is even possible! Even better: these sets are very reasonably priced, from between about $40.00 and $60.00. Check out this new collection at Nordstrom.

Dolce & Gabbana Nesting Doll Onesie

Ahhh I love nesting dolls! I think the only line I have seen these repeatedly used in is Oilily, so I am very excited to see them incorporated into another designer's repertoire! Nesting dolls have always been one of those little things that I am drawn to, in the way that certain people love anything with cherries on it, or anything purple. They just hold a special meaning to me due to a childhood memory, and I think there are probably a lot of people who share this! I can't wait to see if nesting dolls show up in and more of D&G's fall collection! Find this adorable onesie for $50.00 at Lavish Kids.

Days of the Week Onesies from Armani Junior

I am loving where Armani Junior is taking this. First starting with their days of the week bibs,  they have now moved on to onesies. I am just such a huge fan of the "days of the week" idea to begin with that when you pair it with a designer name then pair that with baby items?? You can't go wrong. These white and pink jersey onesies depict all things baby with a girly twist. I'm in love with them. I want them and do not even have a pregnant friend to give them too. Get yours while you can, for $180.00, at Neiman Marcus.

Burberry Jasper Overall

When some things come out, you know they are going to be an instant hit. The Burberry infant's Jasper overall would be one of those things. It comes in the soft blue pictured above, and also white and pink. It's simple enough: crewneck, cotton, snap legs. But it is so classically appealing, with the Burberry logo on the chest, that you just know people are going to go nuts for it. Give it as a gift: the entire gift or part of a themed gift basket, dress your baby in it as either pajamas or an outfit, use it in come simplistic yet sophisticated black and white baby pictures. It's just great. You can get all three colors, for $90.00 each, at Saks

Calvin Klein Onesies: A 5-Pack of Cute!

Aww... the hearts and pinkness on these onesies from Calvin Klein remind me of Valentines Day. So the end of summer is always a bummer (and I'm a poet and didn't know it), but when you think about it, summer really lacks a lot of holidays. Sure, you have the 4th of July and Labor Day (woohoo, so exciting), but in the colder months you have Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Then you have little holidays like Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day (which is not a little holiday with me), so maybe all that cold is worth it. So Calvin Klein's baby collection is not one that I have written about often, but as soon as I saw these onesies I knew I had to share them. Give them as a gift, keep them for yourself, use them as pajamas, pair them with pants or a skirt. Who cares, they are adorable. And the best part? They are only $42.00, found at Children Salon.

Splendid Littles: Very Cute Onesies.

Ahh... the art of the onesie. So many possibilities, so many styles, so many successes, so many failures. Splendid Littles is a brand that can be found at Saks and not one that I have written about before, just thinking about it off the top of my head. Then all of a sudden, I notice these onesies that are slightly reminiscent of Juicy Couture and maybe even a little True Religion with the tie dye... and I am in love! And what cannot be found at Saks can surely be found at Splendid's website; the cheerful forms and colors will not disappoint. And for very reasonable prices hovering around the $50.00 mark for each onesie, these won't even break the bank. It's a win-win.

Hey! Calvin Klein Baby!

Interesting. I'm not sure if I have seen Calvin Klein baby items before and just not liked them enough to write about them, or if this is the first of the baby line? No clue. Calvin Klein is funny to me... I remember the obnoxious perfume commercials back in the 90's (you know which ones I mean) and I remember wearing the t-shirts with the "cK" logo and feeling like I was super cool. Now... I dunno. We have outlet malls near us and there is a Calvin Klein outlet... which is always devoid of human activity. I don't mean to hate on Calvin Klein, and hey, I really like these little onesies. At first glance I almost thought they were Juicy Couture because of the bright colors and variations. I am interested to see where this goes. At least the price range is on the low end: $$37.00 for the whole set! Find yours at Children Salon.

Roberto Cavalli Baby Demin Onesie

I am trying so hard not to laugh at this onesie because I actually think it is really unique and cute... but doens't it kind of remind you of Jersey Shore? Not the denim part, because as all Jersey Shore watchers know from the last episode when Deena wore head-to-toe denim she was ridiculed as being out of style, but just the outfit in general. It reminds me of if Affliction made baby clothes (Maybe they do? If so, I do not care to write about them), yet somehow, it is kind of adorable. Maybe it's the whole "babies can get away with anything" thing that is helping here. Denim with a soft grey hood, silver branded buttons, Roberto Cavalli logo on the side... all this can be yours for $99.00 at Children Salon.

Little Marc Jacobs Can Be A Little Weird...

Sometimes I just don't know what to make of the Little Marc Jacobs collection. I mean, in general I like weird things. I just do. (Bonus quiz: name the movie this quote is from: "You're a big, dumb, weird thing. You shouldn't be married; you should be studied.............. answer? Debbie to Uncle Fester in The Addams Family Values). Apparently I am in a weird mood tonight. But this onesie? It might just be a little too weird for me. Maybe it's the whole half gorilla/half man who is shaped like Peter Griffin from Family Guy that is stopping me from liking this. If you like weird, this onesie can be yours for $71.00, found at Children Salon.

Stella McCartney Kids: Now Available at Saks Fifth Avenue!

Yay, I was hoping that this would happen eventually! Stella McCartney's fairly new baby and kids collection is starting to become available at Saks Fifth Avenue. I have always been a huge fan of her simple little onesies (which are made of organic cotton for all you hipsters out there) with the cute linear animal pictures on them. And now they have been made into a days of the week onesie set! Also a huge fan of how the "days of the week" clothing items like socks, bibs, onesies, etc. are making a fairly big comeback. For this charming set you must pay a price of $139.00.

Juicy Couture Baby Onesie Gift Set

Bad day at work today. My boss made me very angry because while he sits in his gigantic office and watches TV on his gigantic flat screen, I sit in my tiny freezing office and work my ass off. Then he emerges from his gigantic office and instead of seeing the things I have worked on, he sees the things I have not worked on. "Hey, I don't know if you knew this, but there is a rubber band on the floor over here. No rush." REALLY? Work makes me jaded lately. Maybe it is the dead-of-winter blues. Or, maybe it is the my-boss-is-a-douche blues. Anyway, I have been trying to decompress for about four hours now and finally feel like I can focus on something other than my anger. Cute Juicy Couture onesies are a good start. I just love everything about these: they are fun, colorful, and different. A great gift for a friend who would never expect such a big name to be present at her baby shower. 100% comfy cotton, this set of adorable onesies can be found for $85.00 at Children Salon.

Junior Gaulter Bebe Signature Set

Mon Petit Child is a treasure trove for new spring clothing right now, it makes me sad that we still have probably two solid months before the season of patio drinking begins. When I woke up this morning, the sun was shining and it just looked warm outside, so I immediately rushed to my living room and flung open my patio doors to let some air in. Turned out to be 38 degree air, so I promptly closed the doors and pouted for a bit. At least it's not January I guess. So Junior Gaultier... I have had my eye on this collection since it made its debut, but I don't really see anything that wows me. I think some designers start a baby clothing line just to have something else to put their name on, while others (like Baby Dior and Dolce & Gabbana) put forth a giant effort to create amazing things in mini sizes. This $102.00 set by Junior Gaultier is one of the cuter things I have seen from the collection, I especially like the little hat with a top knot. Still waiting on something that gives me the wow factor though.

Cute Pink Armani Onesies

Lavish Kids is still adding Armani Baby items in mass quantities, I can hardly keep up with it. These two are interesting to me because they are just simple and sweet: no huge frills or bling or obnoxious logo usage. They are just regular-looking baby clothes. I actually think they would make cute Valentine's Day outfits for twin girls (I sit around at work and dream up dumb things). The only thing that is not so normal about these pink onesies? The price of course. Duh. $95.00 apiece. Is it Friday yet?

Little Marc Jacobs "I Heart Marc" Romper

Little Marc Jacobs is an interesting collection that pretty much can be spotted anywhere due to the strange little man that is often depicted in one way or another. I would be interested to know more about the history behind him and who in the world he is. My best guess is he represents Marc Jacobs as a baby? If anyone knows, contact me. Please. Anyway, this simple pink onesie is embellished with a gold heart, part of the phrase "I (heart) Marc), with a picture of the little man's face below. Whimsical and fun, this onesie can be found for $53.00 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Armani Spilled Milk Onesie

The shock of $70.00 onesies never really wears off for me. And that is in fact how much this one costs. Kind of a genius design idea: loving how the bottle says "Armani" and the milk is spilling down into the logo. Again, Lavish Kids has seen an Armani explosion this week with a crazy amount of new onesies, bibs, outfits, and shoes. Feel free to indulge, if you are so able!

Gucci Baby Clothes!

Maybe I have been looking in all the wrong places, but in all the sites I have visited in the name of my designer baby clothes obsession, I have only seen baby shoes by Gucci, but no clothing. Well, now your little one can wear onesies and that bear the famous name, because at Saks Fifth Avenue you can now find Gucci gift sets like this one. For $250.00, you can give the gift of two onesies, a bib, and a hat that say "I have money." Hopefully there is more where this is coming from!
