Young Versace Bath Robe

I debated on just piling all of Young Versace's new baby items all into one post, but they are all so beautiful that I think they all need to be treated and attended to individually. Yes, I'm that crazy. But the details are just so soft and beautiful (they have been described as "Baroque" which I LOVE) that it was pretty much love at first sight between me and the entire line. This little white terry cloth bath robe is no exception. I am loving the patterns pink trim AND the words "Young Versace" are embroidered on the hood, for that special designer touch. Find this for $153.00, and more of the new line, at Children Salon.

Juicy Couture Pink Terry Robe

Ahh... I just had to post about this bathrobe because I had a bit of an embarrassing experience with my bathroom today. My shower drain has been less than effective lately, mainly because of how my long, thick, curly hair tends to fall out and clog it. I called maintenance yesterday because it was draining super slow but when I came home, they had not come to fix it (they always leave a little note). Figures. So it was a very nice night here in the Midwest last night, so I decided to hit the pool one more time before they close it this weekend. To do so, I had to do some, ahem, trimming. Well, lo and behold, the drain stops draining all together. Great. So now I have standing water in my tub with little hairs skirting the top of the water. Pretty. So this morning, I woke up late. I had to shower, thankfully I was short on time so I did so quickly, standing in a tub full of now freezing water, and hair. This whole time, I am under the assumption that maintenance has forgotten about me which was fine, because I did not have time to buy a pool skimmer and get the hairs out of the tub before they came. I was just going to call tomorrow. Well. When I arrived home from work today, I went into the bathroom and was absolutely HORRIFIED to find not only a drained, bone-dry tub, but one that has been completely wiped clean. It looked like it was professionally cleaned. I am never calling maintenance again. They probably think I am a disgusting sasquatch. Okay, I'm sorry, after sharing that I feel like I should be done posting for the evening, before I scare everyone off. See details of this adorable pink terry robe from Juicy Couture for $68.00 at juicycouture.com!

Green Babies Organic Bath Products

Alright, for all of you organic-obsessed moms out there (the number seems to be growing and growing still), I was cruising People and came across these organic baby products. Do these bottles remind anyone else of Baby Magic?? According to the article, the ingredients are certified organic and vegan and were never tested on animals. Everything is plant and fruit-derived, and of course it is all tear free. Visit Green Babies to purchase yours (they are between $9-$11, and apparently can also be purchased at Whole Foods), and check out the rest of what they offer!

Dolce & Gabbana Beach Towels

I was wondering when these were going to make an appearance. Dolce & Gabbana has rolled out their own raft and floaties bearing the famous D&G, why not dry off with one of their luxurious towels after using them? Coming in two of their seasonal patterns, Exotic Fish and Lemon Garden, these towels are BIG (61" x 30"), and so is their pricetag: $93.00. Good thing I can't afford tropical vacations, because I definitely could not afford to buy and bring these towels. You can find these and the rest of the swim collection at Children Salon.

Philosophy Baby Grace Perfume

Maybe I am strange, but I almost always buy some sort of baby wash instead of "adult" shower gel. I like the way they smell better; some shower gels are so overpowering they make me want to gag. I am the same way about perfume: I dislike more than I like. Then I discovered Baby Grace by Philosophy. First of all, anything by Philosophy is pretty much genius, but Baby Grace is my favorite by far. It smells clean and fresh, like a baby. I bought some for Christmas and have been obsessed ever since. Just felt compelled the share. Check out philosophy.com for this and more of their awesome product lines.

Ultimate Luxury - Burberry Baby Towel

Only Burberry could make a cotton and polyester towel that costs $225.00. This expensive piece of cloth is quilted on one side and "fluffy towel fabric" on the other. Yes, that is how saksfifthavenue.com described it. Don't forget that it ties in front with a cute little ribbon. That must account for $50.00 or so of the price. Sometimes I am just amazed. Lord help you if you wanted a set of them. At least babies can't mess up towels and permanently stain them with eyeliner so this should stay relatively like new. Hopefully.

Baby Perfume!

Everyone seems to love the smell of babies in the first place (I for one have an obsession with baby wash and baby lotion... I use it rather than "adult" shower products), so why not take that up a notch with some baby perfume? The main ingredients in this are Chamomile tea and talc, so I am sure it smells mild and fantastic. The disclaimer on the saksfifthavenue website cracks me up, stating "Due to high demand, a customer may order no more than six units of this item every thirty days." At $56.00 a bottle, six a month is quite an investment.

Sage Creek Organic Terry Bathrobe

Bathrobes always seemed kind of useless to me... I just never could get into the idea. You give your child a shower or bath, towel them off, and then put on clothes. Where exactly does the bathrobe come into play?

This being said, I still think that children's bathrobes are adorable. This organic terrycloth bathrobe by Sage Creek even has a little tail on the back. A TAIL. Although I might not use it all the time, I might be inclined to purchase this for the purpose of taking pictures of my little guy wearing it.

For $59.00, this bathrobe can be purchased at www.mychildclothing.com.

80's Cube Rubber Duck

Every child should have at least one rubber ducky. It's practically the law. So why not shake things up and get them a funky twist on a classic? My favorite is the 80's Cube Rubber Duck from www.wallsneedlove.com. Plenty more designs to choose from.
