Tartan Bibs by Ralph Lauren

Ahh... a conundrum we have here. Traditionally, I am not a huge fan of Ralph Lauren's baby collection. It's not that I dislike what they do, it just doesn't do much for me. But now they had to go and make a three piece bib gift set with tartan. I LOVE TARTAN. You with this round, Ralph Lauren; I think these are fabulous. Even with the tartan and dark colors, in my opinion these would be perfect for both the gentlemen and the ladies. And, with dark colors, less showing of stains! What more could you ask for? Find this perfect Christmas gift (oh yes I just went there) at Children Salon.

Bonnie Baby Four Piece Gift Set

It has been so much fun (my Grandma always says that is not proper English but oh well... sorry Grandma) to watch Bonnie Baby's flawless collection grow and change ever since their big entrance into the wonderful world of high-end baby clothes. Breaking away from only carrying super-soft cashmere, now Bonnie Baby offers amazing cotton items like this four piece gift set. Made from baby-soft stretchy cotton, this sweet apple pattern set comes with a romper, hat, blanket, and bunny toy. The perfect gift for a special baby boy in your life? I think so. Find it for $123.00 at Children Salon.

A Beautiful Outfit by Chloe Baby

Be still my heart. Chloe's baby collection is just amazing. Words that come to mind: classic, soft, French, sophisticated, stunning. Soft gray flannel pleated shorts with an elastic waist give the appearance of traditional wool but will be as soft and comfortable as pajamas. The top is a cotton/silk blend (maybe even more comfortable!) with a ruffly empire waist. Little pink flowers and a rhinestone logo add the final feminine touch. Amazing. I can see white tights and little black shoes under the shorts and maybe a beret and black jewelry of some sort? Endless possibilities. Find the shirt for $145.00 and the shorts for $150.00 at Neiman Marcus.

Designer Pacifier Bags!

Talk about a luxury! Who even has an inexpensive regular bag for their baby's pacifier? Don't most people just use a ribbon or cord to attach it to the actual baby? Well, if that is not fancy enough for you, consider this cute little leopard print pacifier bag from Roberto Cavalli. It cracks me up that this has a strap like a wristlet. Perfectly girly with wild leopard print and gold logo, this would make a very unique gift that you can pretty much guarantee no one else at the baby shower will bring. For a whopping $107.00. And if this one is a bit too feminine for you, how about this blue Zucca print pacifier bag from Fendi:

This one is a bit more low-key and suitable for a chic baby boy. Wouldn't the two make fun boy/girl twin gifts? That is, if you have another $104.00 to spend on this one. Style is not cheap! Find both at Children Salon.

Fall Accessories from Neiman Marcus

Okay okay, I am finally warming up to the idea of fall being around the corner. The end of summer is weird isn't it? You feel ready for sweatshirts and leaves on the ground and football, but feel sad to leave behind sunny days by the pool and daylight until 10pm. This fall is special for me, as my last day at my at my day job is September 7. But I have already been ranting enough about that. So here we have a handful of pretty autumn things. On top, a very expensive ($290.00) baby changing pad by Gucci, a fair isle blanket set by Ralph Lauren (is it not the sweetest thing you have ever seen) and ribbed tights by Tartine et Chocolat. Note the little rhinestone butterfly on the ankle. Okay fall, I'm ready to accept your entrance. Find all of these at Neiman Marcus.

Tiffany Baby Gifts

Something about walking into Tiffany's is just magical, isn't it? Even walking by the store, seeing the sign, the rings in the window... and Tiffany's at Christmastime? Don't even get me started. I definitely have gone back and forth about their baby gifts; of course they are all beautiful. It's just that some of them are kind of plain. I get that that is the point, to keep it classic, but sometimes I feel myself wanting a little bit more. However, I do not feel that way about this three piece porcelain set with the adorable little ducks. It's unisex, which is always nice when you are looking for a gift for a friend who is wanting to be surprised by the gender of their baby. Imagine watching them pull this out of a gift bag, wrapped gently in yellow tissue paper, turning it over and seeing the Tiffany & Co. emblem on the back... sure to be an instant hit. And the price is actually very reasonable: $135.00, from tiffany.com.

Cavalli Bib Gift Set... And Other Things.

Okay, I know how it works with seasons and department stores and online and blah blah blah. You see bathing suits on the racks in February when you can't help but think, "Oh hell no, I am too pale and fat for that!" And how about right now, when I am browsing Children Salon, and click "New In" and it's all snowsuits and puffer jackets and fuzzy hats??? Nooooo!!! I'm not ready. It's July. And not even mid-July, so the summer isn't even halfway over. I'll be darned if department stores make me think otherwise! Aaaaanyway... I chose something neutral to share from Children Salon, such as this three piece bib gift set from Roberto Cavalli. The colors and incorporation of that famous leopard print that Cavalli loves is just about perfect: tasteful and fun yet not obnoxious. And the price? A not so bad $115.00! Get yours now... along with a snowsuit.

New Gift Sets from Armani Junior

It's only 10:40 and it's already been a crazy Sunday: awoke to my upstairs neighbors (I live in a condo) blasting rap music and vacuuming at 6am, kitten pulled down shower curtain at 7am, some random guy with a wrong number started psycho dialing my phone (think 12 times in ten minutes) and leaving random texts for someone named "Meech" at 8am... This is a bad trend to start because I have to watch my boss's kids tonight and they are psychotic by nature (they probably get it from my boss). Oh well, at least life is never boring!

Anyway, I saw these cute little gift sets at Lavish Kids this morning and am a very big fan, mostly because of the linen overalls. I think they have a kind of French-y feel and would love the opportunity to buy the his and hers version for someone with boy girl twins. The four piece set comes with a onesie, the overalls, a soft cotton hat, and cute little plush duckie. Also, props to Armani for tasteful logo usage on all four pieces! These can be yours for $200.00.

Some Cute New Monnalisa Accessories

I cannot tell a lie: in my opinion Monnalisa can do no wrong. There is just something about the little touches that you can see in every single one of their baby items; it's like every small beautiful detail was taken into consideration. My favorite of these new accessories for Spring/Summer 2012? The stretchy orange print headband. Notice how not only the Monnalisa name is embroidered across the orange, but there are also little rhinestones all over it. Spice up your child's warm weather collection and find these at Children Salon.

New Bibs from Gucci baby!

Ahh Gucci... the king of expensive baby items. From little rain coats to boots to fedoras and yes, even bibs. Saks has these three right now, new for spring 2012. I must say, I am loving the little birdie one! Typically, Gucci goes for the traditional GG print when it comes to its baby accessories (bibs, hats, bottle covers...) and it makes me happy to see that they are exploring more baby-esque themes. And days of the week Gucci bibs? Yes please! Could you imagine opening something like that as a gift and not squealing, "How much did you pay for these?!" So on that note, get ready for the prices. Gucci birdie bib: $195.00. Logo print bib: $120.00. Days of the week bibs: $355.00. Get the credit card ready!

Posh Baby Toys from Dior

One of the things I love the most about Baby Dior is the wide variety of products that make up their line. It's not just clothes, it's bottles, gifts, toys, blankets. These two little guys are new for 2012: a cotton teddy and bunny, both holding a little blanket. Supposedly, if you sleep with these yourself for a few nights, your natural scent will be absorbed by these sweet stuffed animals, then comforting your baby when they sleep with them at night. Kind of a neat idea right? 100% cotton and machine washable, find these for $90.00 each at Children Salon.

Petunia Pickle Bottom Now Makes Baby Clothing!

Yes! I have been waiting for these to come out and the time has finally arrived! Petunia Pickle Bottom has always been a favorite when it comes to baby bags; the crazy beautiful patterns and colors can be recognized most anywhere. Now, you can get all of that colorful goodness in their baby clothes as well! From onesies to blankets to cute little hats, I think I am loving the patterns on the clothing more than I love the ones on the bags, if this is even possible! Even better: these sets are very reasonably priced, from between about $40.00 and $60.00. Check out this new collection at Nordstrom.

Roberto Cavalli Leopard Gift Set

Hee hee... this is just weird enough to be cute. I have ranted and raved about the animal print thing in the past; just because it is "in" doesn't meant it works with anything and everything. It's all about tasteful usage. Wearing zebra striped rain boots with a giraffe print scarf and carrying a leopard print umbrella while wearing a hat with some type of fur? Overkill. Choose one. Be tasteful. Exception to this rule: babies. Babies can wear multiple animal prints because, well, why not? Therefore repeatable patterns like the this three piece leopard set from Roberto Cavalli are adorable and not tacky. Not only do you get a onesie and matching hat, this gift set also comes with a cute little rattle heart, and all three come in a fabulous little gift box. There is something strange and almost adult about the way it is put together, but I'm not going to lie, I'm loving it. Get yours for $179.00 at Lavish Kids.

Chloe Baby Bottle Gift Set

Well, it certainly does not feel like January today if you live in the Midwest US. It's strange, because normally at this time of year when all of the spring and summer lines come out, it always seems so far away almost obscene that we should be tortured with thoughts of warm weather in January. I think it hit 50 in Ohio today. Unreal. Anyway, this Chloe baby bottle gift set really has nothing to do with spring, but Chloe's soft and warm style is about as refreshing as an early spring day (wow, cheesy). I love everything by Chloe baby, especially its whimsy. I am loving how the bottle holder is eyelet with that beige ribbon that is just so... Chloe. Find this for $71.00 at Children Salon.

Juicy Couture Diaper Covers

Cute cute cute! I just think these would make for the most precious Valentine's Day pictures! (Do those even exist?? Do people get those??) I am envisioning heart garland, maybe a cupid-type thing going on, or these under a tutu? There are so many possibilities anymore with baby pictures. Lord help my child, they will be photographed more than the Queen. From Juicy Couture, this two piece gift set comes in a perfect little pink box with heart cutouts. Gets yours now for $38.00 at Neiman Marcus

Young Versace Bath Robe

I debated on just piling all of Young Versace's new baby items all into one post, but they are all so beautiful that I think they all need to be treated and attended to individually. Yes, I'm that crazy. But the details are just so soft and beautiful (they have been described as "Baroque" which I LOVE) that it was pretty much love at first sight between me and the entire line. This little white terry cloth bath robe is no exception. I am loving the patterns pink trim AND the words "Young Versace" are embroidered on the hood, for that special designer touch. Find this for $153.00, and more of the new line, at Children Salon.

Gucci Silk & Wool Baby Blanket

Well... here is the latest addition to the category of "Things That Just Look Expensive." Made from an uber-luxurious blend of silk and wool, this blanket has the Gucci crest (rather an updated version with a cute little bunny) on one side and blue and red stripes on the other. As I sit here in my condo freezing and not wanting to get ready for work, I would love to wrap up in this and crawl back into bed. And sleep until spring. Ready for the price tag on this baby? How about $546.00. Wow. Find it at Children Salon.

Why I Love Monnalisa Gift Sets

Just look at the details on this, on every single piece! How could you choose a favorite part? I'm loving the bunny footies, the adorable bib that looks like a heart-shaped box of chocolates, the trim and logo around the collar, or how about how there is a bunny's booty on the chest?? I swear, every gift set Monnalisa designs leaves me smiling and shaking my head in adoration. I wish I had a special baby girl to give this to for Valentine's Day. Get yours for $132.00 at Children Salon.

Janie and Jack My Girl Valentine Collection

Ugh... I have that post-holidays feeling. Sure, it's great to not have to worry about cards and baking and traveling and budgeting and the perfect gift and resolutions and cooking... Wait. Is it? I like all those things. It is definitely a bit overwhelming to be doing them all at once, but that's the spirit of the season! Then afterwards it's just... blah. What do we have to look forward to besides spring, which is four months away? Valentine's Day? I will not rant about Valentine's Day on January 2. It is far too early. So let's take a positive spin on it: the My Girl Valentine collection from Janie and Jack. I love how Janie and Jack always keep it so classic and beautiful with every single baby item they crank out. Each collection is more stunning than the last and it makes for great anticipation when one is about to come out. I am loving the pink, the frills, the subtle florals of this collection. A generous friend/family member could gift some lucky woman (and baby) with all three pieces. Find them all at janieandjack.com.

Juicy Couture Velour Baby Blanket

Dare I say this is the first Juicy Couture baby blanket I have blogged about? Upon doing some pinning I noticed that Juicy was missing from the list of luxurious baby blanket I have come across. Thanks to my friend Google, here is the first! Made from soft and cuddly velour (of course a Juicy baby blanket would be made of velour), I am loving the four-square design and the little bows that adorn the corners! For just $68.00, find this at Shop Sugar Babies.
