Be still my heart. Chloe's baby collection is just amazing. Words that come to mind: classic, soft, French, sophisticated, stunning. Soft gray flannel pleated shorts with an elastic waist give the appearance of traditional wool but will be as soft and comfortable as pajamas. The top is a cotton/silk blend (maybe even more comfortable!) with a ruffly empire waist. Little pink flowers and a rhinestone logo add the final feminine touch. Amazing. I can see white tights and little black shoes under the shorts and maybe a beret and black jewelry of some sort? Endless possibilities. Find the shirt for $145.00 and the shorts for $150.00 at Neiman Marcus.

Chloe Baby Bottle Gift Set
Well, it certainly does not feel like January today if you live in the Midwest US. It's strange, because normally at this time of year when all of the spring and summer lines come out, it always seems so far away almost obscene that we should be tortured with thoughts of warm weather in January. I think it hit 50 in Ohio today. Unreal. Anyway, this Chloe baby bottle gift set really has nothing to do with spring, but Chloe's soft and warm style is about as refreshing as an early spring day (wow, cheesy). I love everything by Chloe baby, especially its whimsy. I am loving how the bottle holder is eyelet with that beige ribbon that is just so... Chloe. Find this for $71.00 at Children Salon.

Chloe Baby T-Shirts
Chloe baby is always: soft, sweet, warm, classic, girly, pretty, whimsical, beautiful... I could list enough adjectives to fill about 5 Mad Libs that come to my mind when I think of Chloe. These t-shirts are just so simple and so cute; I wish they would do a days of the week gift set because I want to see more of these precious animal designs! Soft cotton, cap sleeves, snap closure down the back... these are sure to be a new favorite item in many wardrobes. Find them both for $50.00 each at Children Salon.

Chloe Baby Brown Leather Boots
Who is excited for boot season? I know that I am, that's for sure. As much as I love painted toenails and changing the color like ever other day, after four to five months of sandal season, that gets exhausting. I fee like it has been forever since I have talked about Chloe, so I thought these perfect boots were the perfect place to pick back up. Made from soft brown leather with exterior stitching for a kind of rustic feel, Chloe turns around and counteracts the ruggedness with cream bow tied around the ankles. Again: just perfect, and perfectly Chloe. Find these for $131.00 at joseph M.

Chloe Baby Pink Velvet Onesie
Is it just me, or has Chloe baby kind of slowed down production a little? It honestly could be just me, as I have not had my sensors out this summer like I normally due. But in any case, I have decided to revisit Chloe baby with a perfect example of what defines them: a classic. Here we have a onesie that is soft, velvet, pink, and has a pleated neck with cuffed sleeves. Chloe always sticks with the feminine and traditional (with a modern twist of course) and I am a big fan of that. See more details of this $135.00 onesie at Children Salon.

A Couple Beautiful Things from Chloe Baby
A few words that come to mind when I think of Chloe Baby: soft, elegant, classic, gorgeous. Oh, and expensive. But that goes without saying. Happy Wednesday everyone, and I would like to start it off with a couple of new Chloe items that totally fit the mold: a denim pinafore and a soft white tie-waist cardigan. I would not paid these together because that would be overkill; I just could not decide on which one I wanted to share so I chose both. The pinafore zips up the back, has a soft lining, and is accented by a tastefully large bow (I am very picky about oversized bows). The cardigan is just wow. Knitted with soft angora and lined with jersey cotton, I imagine that this sweater is going to become the favorite fall item in a lot of wardrobes. The $122.00 dress and $195.00 cardigan can both be found at Children Salon.

Burberry Tights vs. Chloe Tights: Bottom Line? Expensive Tights.
Oh the luxuries that there is a 95% chance that I will never be able to afford... one of them most definitely being designer baby tights. I feel like I have gone down this path before, but one would think that you could only get one wear, maybe two if you are lucky, out of any pair of tights that are going to be slapped onto a two foot tall person who either crawls or falls or climbs for a living. And ivory designer tights? Big risk there if you ask me. But hey if you can afford it, more power to you. My favorite out of these two pairs (Burberry on the left, Chloe on the right) are the Burberry because of the tiny bow and the soft woven stripe design that runs up the side. Those are a whopping $53.00 while the Chloe pair come in a close second at $51.00. If you can't make up your mind, you can buy both at Children Salon!

Chloe Baby "Little Birds" Set
Well... I guess one of the good things about taking a month off of blogging for personal reasons is that upon coming back, everything is new. I just surfed all of my regular web haunts for about an hour because I did not recognize anything I saw. So refreshing. Oddly enough, I decided to get back into the swing of things with this sweet little set from Chloe Baby. I guess I needed something soft and subtle to ease myself back into the blogging routine. Always classic, Chloe baby keeps with its tradition of feminine flair with this two piece shirt and bloomer set. Favorite part? The silver Chloe charm that hangs from the front of the shirt. Second favorite part? The "Little Birds" theme in general. I can't wait to see what else emerges from this collection as the season pushes forward. Find this adorable set for $90.00 at Children Salon.

Chloe Baby Pink Leather Shoes
After almost a week hiatus, we are back! Designer Baby took a bit of an extended weekend to Chicago for some much-needed retail therapy. It was amazing to see the baby items that I have been blogging about in person at all of the high-end department stores. It made me wish I had a pregnant friend to purchase for! So for the welcome back post, I have chosen some classic Chloe prewalker shoes. Soft pink leather accented by tiny silver studs, these little shoes perfectly demonstrate Chloe Baby's clean style with a little pizazz. These shoes are going fast, with two of three sizes already sold out at Children Salon, for $87.00 a pair.

Chloe Infant's Bird Print Dress
Another gorgeous classic from Chloe Baby. I have had thing for birds lately... they have been showing up in my artwork way more than normal. Maybe it is because of the lingering fascination I have had with the birds that started falling out of the sky on New Years Eve in Arkansas, or maybe because birds make me think of spring. Who knows. In any case, I love the antique feel of this dress, and the tie straps are even better. This springy dress can be found for $154.00 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Chloe Baby Rose Knit Dress
Anything cranked out by Chloe Baby has such a distinctive and classic appeal to it. You can just look at a piece of clothing and know, "That is part of Chloe's baby collection." I think that that is important. They have their own identifiers while still creating new styles that fit the times. I hope that makes sense. In any case, this dress is absolutely gorgeous, maybe my favorite Chloe Baby piece ever. An angora/wool blend, the rose fabric and knitting and buttons and pockets and oh I am in love with everything about it. Except maybe the price... $225.00, at neimanmarcus.com.

Chloe Baby Ivory Gathered Dress
For the most part, I have always been very impressed with Chloe's baby collection, mainly due to its simplicity and elegance. This little dress is no different. An angora and wool blend, the color is described as "popcorn." Aka, beige. Perfect ribbing and embroidery, along with the two buttons on the left sleeve, make this a classic that will turn heads now, 50 years from now, and would have 50 years ago. I love pieces like this for that very reason. See more details of this $195.00 dress at neimenmarcus.com.

Chloe Baby Pink Floral Blouse
Chloe baby is simple, classic, elegant, and soft. This billowy blouse is the perfect example, with its Peter Pan collar, decorative bow, and soft pink floral pattern. Apparently the "Chloe Baby" logo is even incorporated into the allover floral design, and I am a sucker for tactful and inventive logo incorporation. This blouse can be found for $82.00 at childrensalon.com.
Chloe Baby Sunglasses
Babies that wear sunglasses are cute. They just are. It makes me wonder what they think the sunglasses are for. They don't know about things like that. I always thought that cheap sunglasses would be a good idea for babies, since there is a large chance that they will be torn off and thrown on the ground at least a time or twenty. These Chloe sunglasses... are not cheap. Better stick to wearing them in the grass, because you may not be happy when your child breaks their $215.00 sunglasses. See details at childrensalon.com.

Chloe Baby Cashmere Bonnet
In a world of beanies, fedoras, cab driver hats, and berets, I think that sometimes baby bonnets are pushed by the wayside and forgotten. But...a classic is a classic and classics never die. Leave it to Chloe to take it back to the basics but with an exquisite touch that is anything but boring. This chunky white bonnet is a cotton/cashmere blend, complete with a little gold Chloe charm on the bottom. I would make room next to a fedora for this $61.00 throwback, from www.childrensalon.com.

Chloe Baby Cashmere Jacket
Everything about this jacket is gorgeous. I don't even know what to say. White cashmere with a black belt, interior lined with soft cotton... I guess the only downside of it would be that it would get dirty after just one tumble by the lucky baby wearing it. For $226.00, this jacket can be purchased at childrensalon.com.
Chloe Baby Toy Mouse
Today I learned that every season, Chloe produces a soft toy mouse wearing a signature look from that season's collection. I had no idea. Here is Chloe's fall mouse, wearing a white dress with brown ribbon, reflecting the items in the fall baby collection. There must be people who collect these Chloe mice (just almost typed mouses), and I am interested to see what mice from past seasons looked like. Start your collection with this mouse, for $86.00 at childrensalon.com.

Chloe Baby Changing Bag
Pretty disappointed by this. While I love baby bags that do not look like baby bags, I am not a fan of the khaki canvas used here. At all. It looks like an 80's bowling bag. Honestly if I saw someone carrying this with the huge "Chloe" logo on the side, I would most likely assume it is fake. For a hefty price of $743.00, I would definitely expect more. See details of this bag at childrensalon.com.

Chloe Infant's Footie
This just doesn't wow me. Chloe's line of baby items is consistently soft, subtle, and classic, which is definitely seen in this footie, but this leaves me wanting more. Maybe a hat or something? I just find it very blah. Don't know how I feel about the bow. It has three-quarter sleeves which make me smile because I remember when those made their debut onto the scene. Anyway, I guess I felt compelled to share this because it is $146.00 worth of cotton simplicity, from saksfifthavenue.com.

Chloe Infant's Bib Set
Saksfifthavenue.com says that with these bibs, your baby girl can make a fashion statement, and that they come in their own bag! Wow. Is this why they cost $74.00, for two bibs? Nah... that's just because they are made by Chloe. I can't lie, I got a bit of sticker stock with this one. I do adore the whimsical and dainty drawings but unfortunately, I could only ever afford the knock off.
