Precious Patchwork from Janie and Jack

What is it about patchwork that just never gets old? I used to have this doll quilt when I was little. I don't remember where it came from or who made it, but every single patch on it was different. I had favorite patches, least favorite patches, and would never get tired of looking at them all. Perhaps I was a bit of a strange child... but now as an adult that love for patchwork is still there. Janie and Jack's colors and styles are always so cheerful, and their Spring 2012 things are certainly no exception. My favorite items are, of course, the patchwork ones. How can you look at these and not think of a warm Spring day? We are getting so close!

Janie and Jack My Girl Valentine Collection

Ugh... I have that post-holidays feeling. Sure, it's great to not have to worry about cards and baking and traveling and budgeting and the perfect gift and resolutions and cooking... Wait. Is it? I like all those things. It is definitely a bit overwhelming to be doing them all at once, but that's the spirit of the season! Then afterwards it's just... blah. What do we have to look forward to besides spring, which is four months away? Valentine's Day? I will not rant about Valentine's Day on January 2. It is far too early. So let's take a positive spin on it: the My Girl Valentine collection from Janie and Jack. I love how Janie and Jack always keep it so classic and beautiful with every single baby item they crank out. Each collection is more stunning than the last and it makes for great anticipation when one is about to come out. I am loving the pink, the frills, the subtle florals of this collection. A generous friend/family member could gift some lucky woman (and baby) with all three pieces. Find them all at janieandjack.com.

Janie and Jack's New Collections

Janie and Jack may be one of the most fun clothing lines to see transition through the seasons. Why? Because their gorgeous clothing is separated into collections, and each season they are new. For example, these beautiful dresses and accessories are all part of the new "Nostalgic Holiday" collection. Yes, I said holiday. Come on people, you knew it was coming soon, might as well break the ice and start dropping the "h" word like it's hot! I am prone to talking about holiday outfits anyway, as a self-confessed Christmas fanatic (think: five trees). I am so excited to see what else Janie and Jack has in store!

Janie and Jack's Signature Layette Collection

There are so many things I love about Janie and Jack. At the top of the list is the fact that they divide their clothes by collection. Each collection has a theme and within it all different types of clothing and accessories. I imagine some Janie and Jack fanatics collect every piece from their favorite collection while others take pieces from each collection to make one of their own (I especially like this idea). It makes the seasonal roll-outs so much fun to look at because of how many new things there are to look at. I always love the classic rosebud/rosette/pink/feminine/small print thing (think: Monnalisa) which is why I am drawn to the signature layette collection. Better get your wallet ready though because this stuff is not cheap!

Pristine Baby Set from Janie and Jack

Whether it be for a wedding, Easter Sunday, a fancy garden party, or whatever other springtime even you can dream up, this set from Janie and Jack could not be more prefect or exquisite. The Pristine Baby set, which consists of a delicately embroidered silk pintucked dress, a tiny cropped cardigan with scalloped trim, a silk headband with bow, and toppped off with silk crib shoes that tie with white ribbons. It sounds like something out of a dream and I wish I could see a picture of a baby wearing it. Janie and Jack describes this set as "vintage elegance," and I cannot agree more. Purchase this at their website for a small fee of $282.00. Looking pristine comes with a price.

Janie and Jack Quilted Corduroy Coat

Janie and Jack is definitely a website worth visiting. They have their baby clothes separated into different collections: things like Sweet Kittens, Petite Rosette, and Baby Penguin for girls and Polar Bear, Vintage Train, and Baby Dinosaur for boys. As you can imagine, completely adorable. Popular with the celebrities yet not out-of-this-world expensive, Janie and Jack has all sorts of unique items, like this quilted corduroy jacket for $48.00.
Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Janie and Jack Corduroy Blazer

From the Rugby League collection by Janie and Jack, this tiny version of the classic blazer even has faux leather buttons, buttonholes in the collar, and leather elbow patches. Something about toddler boys all dressed up like little men just has the ability to stop traffic. At least if I am driving.
