Fancy Schmancy Juicy Couture Shoes!

These are so over the top that they are amazing. An ever-so Juicy combination of fuchsia, gold, velour, sparkles, and ribbon. Anything with this crazy combination would most likely NOT work for an adult (hint-hint, women who wear head to toe velour mixed with bling and gold), but for a baby, why not? The phrase "Smells Like Couture" is embroidered in gold on the bottom... kind of weird... but all in all, a very cute little shoe for your very cute little princess. They also come in a gift box so they would be fun to present a lucky om at a baby shower. Find these for $95.00 at Children Salon.

Fendi Baby Zucca Snowsuit

Holy lord. This may be the most expensive designer baby snowsuit I have seen yet, AND the first snowsuit I have seen from Fendi's baby collection. Figures that it is the most expensive. Covered the the ever-famous Zucca print, this down-filled snowsuit has a detachable fur hood and also detachable mittens and booties. Oh, and it is also the most gorgeous brown color that would work for either girls or boys. Ready for the price? A giant $689.00, found at Children Salon.

Cute Travel Blankies

I still have road trips on the brain, bigtime. I think that everyone should find a way to take a road trip across their country, that is at least a month long, at some point in their lifetime. If you live in the United States like I do, this is a pretty big feat. I have one planned for this coming summer that spans 39 states over a two month time period. Now all I have to do is save up enough money to quit my job and do it. Sounds easy enough (haha). So these adorable blankets are travel-size (21" x 21") and come in a variety of fun patterns and colors. One side is soft and fuzzy and the other side is a smooth satin, AND there are matching car seat covers! Now I would not recommend a cross-country road trip with a small child, but one of these little blankets might make a trip to Grandma's house a little easier. And they are only $29.00, at 2 Little Monkeys.

Armani Junior Babygrow: More Fairisle!

I was just talking about this yesterday! Apparently I need to purchase more fashion magazine because I definitely was not aware until very recently that the Fairisle print is back with a vengeance this season. Always a favorite, this doesn't really come as a surprise; it just seems like all of a sudden it is everywhere! Seen here on this babygrow from Armani Junior, this 100% cotton romper is dark navy and shows a layered look, with the snowflake Fairisle vest attached to the top half. I am honestly not so much in love with the outfit as a whole, but again, I am a sucker for Fairisle. See more details of this outfit (which comes in an organza gift bag), found for $104.00 at Children Salon.

Splendid Littles: Very Cute Onesies.

Ahh... the art of the onesie. So many possibilities, so many styles, so many successes, so many failures. Splendid Littles is a brand that can be found at Saks and not one that I have written about before, just thinking about it off the top of my head. Then all of a sudden, I notice these onesies that are slightly reminiscent of Juicy Couture and maybe even a little True Religion with the tie dye... and I am in love! And what cannot be found at Saks can surely be found at Splendid's website; the cheerful forms and colors will not disappoint. And for very reasonable prices hovering around the $50.00 mark for each onesie, these won't even break the bank. It's a win-win.

Dolce & Gabbana Baby Gift Set

You know... I thought of something the other day: I have never been to a baby shower. Granted I am not super old at 28 years of age, but that's weird right? Then I think about my friend circle: it consists of a great number of gay men and a great number of still-single women. I don't know how that happened. My ten year high school reunion is coming up this Thanksgiving and while 95% of the people I graduated with have either married each other or someone else and had at least a couple of kids, my friends and I (the few from high school who I still keep in touch with) are still single as the day is long. All of my friends are. I guess we just gravitate towards each other. I like it though; it's like living out Sex and the City with a new adventure every day. So this Dolce & Gabbana four piece gift set is what got me thinking about baby showers in the first place. It would be a great gift with it's sweet tiny pink logo print. The little cotton booties have got to be my favorite part. Be the hit of the party and show up with this $210.00 gift, from Lavish Kids.

TOMS Baby Shoes

I'm throwing in the towel. I have refused to post about TOMS baby shoes for over a year now because the demographic of the adults who wore TOMS shoes made me kind of angry: hipsters who think they are better than everyone else. We are all human. Get over yourself. Good for you that you eat organic food and grow your own vegetables in your back yard and carry your recycling to the recycling plant uphill both ways in the snow barefoot. I do everything I can to do the right thing too. I'm just not obnoxious about it. Unfortunately, I think sometimes the masses can ruin things for people who generally do not like to follow the masses. TOMS shoes fall into that category for me. I have a friend who lives in Chicago and walks to work ever day, two miles each way. He has had the same pair of TOMS shoes for six months and they are still like brand new. So masses, I am going to push you aside and see these shoes for what they really are: good shoes. And these metallic pink baby shoes that have both stars and stripes? Adorable. I actually have my eye on an adult pair of TOMS that are completely covered with silver sequins. I guess sometimes the masses know what they are talking about and all we can do is jump on the band wagon. Find these for $45.00 at Neiman Marcus.
