I could be biased because I just bought a new cherry sleigh bed that I am still in the honeymoon phase with (you know when you buy something and it's still new and you are just obsessed with it? Amazing Catimini Gloves!

I have been very motivated today. Ever have those days where you can't seem to stop doing stuff? Why can't every day be like that?? After my kitten woke me up at 8am with a foot attack, I have since reorganized my studio, added about 10 new strands of various decorative lights (I even found those old-fashioned bubble lights at the thrift store yesterday!) and am ready to create. Write. Paint. Draw. I've been thinking and scheming and planning a lot lately, and I have a lofty goal of saving up enough money this year to quit my job in May and depart for a cross-country road trip on June 1, 2012. Hell, if the world is going to end that year anyway, might as well see the US before it's destroyed, right?

None of that has to do with Catimini gloves. I need to remember that this blog is Designer Baby, not Jenna's Dreams to Quit Her Job and Do Crazy Things. So if these gloves were made in adult sizes, I would purchase them. Maybe some lucky women with dainty little hands can wear these too. The ribbon laced up the middle is what really gets me: it's so unique and sooo Catimini. Monnalisa Leopard Print Bambi Suitcase

This post is pretty appropriate for me right now because I have had travel on the brain like none other. I haven't been out of the country in YEARS and haven't even taken a significant vacation in quite a while. Call me a jerk, but I do not understand people who have no interest in seeing what is out there in the world... whether that be in your own country or visiting someone else's. Just a thing I guess. In any case, I think this is the first suitcase I have seen my Monnalisa. I generally don't go for their Disney-themed stuff, just because I think that their signature clothing is so amazing by itself, but this is pretty cute. Leopard print and Bambi are kind of an odd combo, but I don't think a little girl would see it that way. The inside is lined with a silky pink material, adding to the femininity. All in all, I am a fan. It is however... a tad pricey. For $283.00, find this example of cuteness at Children Salon.

Jessica Alba Gives Birth!!

Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren welcomed a second girl to their family on Saturday! Haven Garner Warren now joins big sister Honor and is sure to be just as big of a fashionista! So excited to see these two perfectly-dressed little girls out together for the first time.

Juicy Couture Snow Boots

Why do I feel like these are going to sell out relatively quickly? Maybe it has something to do with the fabulousness: gold flitter, pom poms, fur, Juicy Couture. Yeah, that could be it. It's hard to imagine right now, in the middle of this lovely (not so much) heat wave, a time where your baby would need these little boots to keep her feet warm. But it is upon us... Designer Baby Turns the Big O-N-E!

Kind of hard for me to believe that I started this little operation an entire year ago (it was actually one year ago Saturday, but I was celebrating the weekend and unable to blog). It began as something to break up my day at my newfound desk job:something to do while I was on hold or attending a pointless WebEx or to just break up the monotony. Now it's actually a fun little habit and obsession of mine and I have made a few great friends while doing so. It makes me wonder what this next year will bring!
