Warm and Wonderful from Juicy Couture

Cannot lie... the softly-colored embroidered onesie and bib are by far my favorite. Have you been to Saks lately? If not, open a new tab in your browser right now. Even if you are at work. Keep a half-finished spreadsheet handy in case your boss walks by. But you have to go to Saks' website and check out all of the adorable winter baby items... then spend the rest of the day shocked that you are excited for SNOW.

The Perfect Holiday Dress from Baby Graziella

Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas party, church on Christmas, New Years Eve... this dress is perfect for all holiday occasions. It is a wonderful combination of wool and cashmere, combining all sorts of textures from the ribbed top to the sequin bubble skirt to the soft satin bow belt. I love dresses that you could pair with both white or black as far as tights, shoes, and accessories go. This dress falls right into that category. This hat by Ciccino would be an adorable addition to the outfit:

And maybe pair them with these little black patent shoes from Early Days:

Why am I all of a sudden excited for the holiday season? Why am I wishing I had a baby in my life (umm not necessarily my own) to buy these things for? Almost too much cuteness to handle. Find all of these at my all-time favorite, Children Salon.

A Beautiful Outfit by Chloe Baby

Be still my heart. Chloe's baby collection is just amazing. Words that come to mind: classic, soft, French, sophisticated, stunning. Soft gray flannel pleated shorts with an elastic waist give the appearance of traditional wool but will be as soft and comfortable as pajamas. The top is a cotton/silk blend (maybe even more comfortable!) with a ruffly empire waist. Little pink flowers and a rhinestone logo add the final feminine touch. Amazing. I can see white tights and little black shoes under the shorts and maybe a beret and black jewelry of some sort? Endless possibilities. Find the shirt for $145.00 and the shorts for $150.00 at Neiman Marcus.

Some Lovely Red Dresses

So I have been teerrrrrible about blogging this month! I feel like there has been so much going on. I just had a birthday, spring has arrived about a month early, and I have been indulging in weekend trips left and right! I need to get back on track here. I know my last post was about red things, but truly I cannot get enough of them. One thing I love about Children Salon is that when you are viewing an item, they have a "You might also like" feature at the bottom, which is how I found these beautiful red-accented dresses.

First is a simple and cute creation by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada. I am not a fan of the heart on the belt, but the scalloped bottom makes up for it. And I'm sure you could remove the heart if you really wanted to (I'd probably try). This one can be yours for $92.00.

Next is my favorite, by the always-impressive Monnalisa. It is actually a three piece set that comes with the cute little bolero cardigan and headband. Again, the attention to detail that Monnalisa consistently shows is incredible: from the white trim at the bottom of the cardigan to the ruffle on the headband, it's amazing. This one will cost you a nominal $299.00.

Last is a sweet little ladybug print dress and bloomers set by Moschino. You can tell it is just the softest cotton by looking at it, and the gathered ruffles at the bottom are too adorable. This one you can purchase for $139.00.

Happy Friday all!

New Gift Sets from Armani Junior

It's only 10:40 and it's already been a crazy Sunday: awoke to my upstairs neighbors (I live in a condo) blasting rap music and vacuuming at 6am, kitten pulled down shower curtain at 7am, some random guy with a wrong number started psycho dialing my phone (think 12 times in ten minutes) and leaving random texts for someone named "Meech" at 8am... This is a bad trend to start because I have to watch my boss's kids tonight and they are psychotic by nature (they probably get it from my boss). Oh well, at least life is never boring!

Anyway, I saw these cute little gift sets at Lavish Kids this morning and am a very big fan, mostly because of the linen overalls. I think they have a kind of French-y feel and would love the opportunity to buy the his and hers version for someone with boy girl twins. The four piece set comes with a onesie, the overalls, a soft cotton hat, and cute little plush duckie. Also, props to Armani for tasteful logo usage on all four pieces! These can be yours for $200.00.

Some Favs from Bonpoint Spring 2012!

Like it's ever easy to pick favorites from Bonpoint! I will never grow tired of how they piece outfit ideas together for you... how does one get that job?! I'd probably pay someone to have the privilege to do that, rather than actually be paid. I'm not going to lie, I actually have not checked out the entire spring collection yet; in a weird way I want to do it little by little. Savor it. Like box of chocolates. Or something. Have I mentioned that I have taken a bit of cold medicine today and am feeling a little loopy? Seriously though, loving this spring stuff. And I feel like the girls collection is dainty but with a bit of tomboy thrown in there, which I LOVE. Girls like to play in the mud too! But hopefully not in Bonpoint clothes. Too expensive. Which ones are your favorites?

More Burberry Love!

I swear, there is no one who knows how to work a little traditional denim like Burberry does. It has a certain softness and this warm, all-American feel to it. Like I can see a toddler running through a field of daisies with lemonade in a sippy cup while wearing this dress. WOW. Can you tell I am ready for spring already? This time of year is always really exciting though, because who doesn't love seeing the spring and summer lines emerge? I have been particularly impressed with Burberry lately, and this dress is just another example of why. The pleats, ruffles, and sweet little sleeves show such a fantastic attention to detail. And nova check bloomers? Yes please. You can find this dress for a lucky little girl in your life for $142.00 at Children Salon.

Janie and Jack My Girl Valentine Collection

Ugh... I have that post-holidays feeling. Sure, it's great to not have to worry about cards and baking and traveling and budgeting and the perfect gift and resolutions and cooking... Wait. Is it? I like all those things. It is definitely a bit overwhelming to be doing them all at once, but that's the spirit of the season! Then afterwards it's just... blah. What do we have to look forward to besides spring, which is four months away? Valentine's Day? I will not rant about Valentine's Day on January 2. It is far too early. So let's take a positive spin on it: the My Girl Valentine collection from Janie and Jack. I love how Janie and Jack always keep it so classic and beautiful with every single baby item they crank out. Each collection is more stunning than the last and it makes for great anticipation when one is about to come out. I am loving the pink, the frills, the subtle florals of this collection. A generous friend/family member could gift some lucky woman (and baby) with all three pieces. Find them all at janieandjack.com.

A Crazy Expensive Roberto Cavalli Track Suit.

It's not like this should come as any surprise. Roberto Cavalli is pretty notorious for their tiny infant track suits with the huge gigantic price tags. We see them every season, yet somehow they still blow my mind. Here we have a two piece gray track suit with velour trim in Cavalli's signature peony print that we saw so much of last season. Sure, it's cute. It's girly. It has that fun gold charm with the brand logo. The downside? It costs $469.00. Wow. If you hit the lottery recently, you can buy this at Lavish Kids.

Girly and Pink from Juicy Couture

Well, we are now 3 for 3 tonight with posting about pink things. But how can I resist sharing this adorable new outfit from Juicy Couture? It doesn't get more girly than this: pink, bows, ruffles, and sequins. This is an interesting outfit because it could pass for a dress up outfit, yet at the same time it is kind of ballerina-y, making it look like a costume, yet it is also casual enough to bang around on an average day. Maybe it's me; maybe I can't make a solid decision because our coffee maker was broken when I arrived at work this morning so I have felt like half of a human all day. Could indicate the need for an intervention. Maybe tomorrow. This little outfit is being marked as a must-have for this season, and you can find yours for $78.00 at juicycouture.com.

Janie and Jack's New Collections

Janie and Jack may be one of the most fun clothing lines to see transition through the seasons. Why? Because their gorgeous clothing is separated into collections, and each season they are new. For example, these beautiful dresses and accessories are all part of the new "Nostalgic Holiday" collection. Yes, I said holiday. Come on people, you knew it was coming soon, might as well break the ice and start dropping the "h" word like it's hot! I am prone to talking about holiday outfits anyway, as a self-confessed Christmas fanatic (think: five trees). I am so excited to see what else Janie and Jack has in store!

A Perfect (ly Expensive) Holiday Outfit from Gucci Baby.

Oh my. I fell in love with this outfit as soon as I laid eyes on it. Actually, I think it was before I even saw the whole thing. I was flipping through the slides on Gucci's website and as soon as this entered the screen I think I gasped out loud. It's gorgeous. The colors. The classic forms. The plaid. The ballerina flats. It is the ultimate holiday outfit. And to have it you practically have to pay the ultimate price. Here is the breakdown:
1) Red cashmere and wool Montgomery jacket: $475.00
2) Sleeveless tartan pleated dress: $360.00
3) Poplin shirt with ruffles and GG heart plaque: $225.00
4) Charlotte ballerina flats with horsebit detail: $235.00
This brings us to a grand total of $1295.00. WOW. Speechless.

Juicy Couture Tee and Leggings Set

Today was the Monday of all Mondays. The Monday people have nightmares about. We had work drama that started yesterday (it's always great when the drama starts before the week does) and carried into this morning. It did nothing but rain all day. My boss was being particularly rude ("Did we forget to do this?" "Did we forget to move these numbers?" We = me, in his stupid vernacular). I had to work 40 minutes late due to a lazy coworker. SO, my mind is shot. I am exhausted. Therefore, I chose something nice and easy and fun to write about: a simple and cute outfit from Juicy Couture. Having a groovy 70's feel, I am loving the scrunch-tie legs. Looks like something comfortable enough to sack out on the couch with a bottle in. Which is exactly what I am about to do... except my bottle will hold WINE. Happy Monday everyone, at least it's over! Find this outfit for $48.00 at Saks.

Eliane et Lena Fall 2011: A Beautiful Picture.

It's stunning, isn't it? A shot depicting many items from Eliane et Lena's fall 2011 collection, I keep thinking about if you had twin girls and they showed up for their first day of preschool dressed like this. I have twin brothers, and my mom had very strong feelings about always treating them like individuals. They were always called "the boys" and never "the twins." She never dressed them alike, even though they sometimes wore the same outfit but in different colors (one liked red, one liked blue, and each swore they hated the other color). I just cannot get over this picture and how the girls are so perfectly dressed. What an amazing collection. The entire thing can be seen and pre ordered at Little Luna Blue.

Fendi Baby Cream Tracksuit

This is adorable and I love everything about it. It is hard for me to even elaborate, because if I were to list the things I loved, it would be just stating the obvious and existing things that make up this Fendi tracksuit: the color, the collar, the heart, the pockets, the Zucca trim. It is beautiful and simple at the same time, elegant and casual, traditional and modern. The only thing that people may have a bit of an issue with is the price: a ginormous $355.00, found at joseph M.

Burberry Nova Check Dress and Leggings Set

With how many hundreds of times I have visited Children Salon's website, I somehow missed the fact that there is a section where you can buy entire outfits as a set. That is where I found this adorable nova check set from Burberry. It comes with three pieces: the dress, leggings, and gillet. The gillet makes me giggle a little bit because I am wondering the percentage of little girls who will have it on for 30 seconds before promptly removing it and refusing to wear it. Kids are so funny about clothes sometimes. Oh and the price? Just about as large as one would expect: $216.00.
