So... the movie Beaches is on TV right now. I have never seen Beaches. I know, I know. I have also never seen The Bodyguard, Pretty Woman, The Sound of Music, and about 1000 other movies that all girls are supposed to have seen by their late 20's. Maybe I'm a freak, maybe I don't mind that. But Beaches randomly came on the channel my TV was on and I was hooked in about one minute and thirty seconds. Sticking to the beach/summer/swimming theme, Juicy Couture's swim collection for this season is pretty amazingly impressive. Not only do they have a ton of genius styles of swim suits, they have towels, cover-ups, and terry rompers that scream, "You need me for your tropical vacation!" New Juicy Couture Swimsuits!

You know what sucks? When you send someone a work email around the holidays and get their auto-reply: "Sorry, Jean Smith is celebrating the holidays with her family in Tahiti! She will respond to you on January 5 when she is tanner, has cool pictures, and is more cultured than you." Damn you Jean Smith! Why am I not vacationing in Tahiti? Why will my boss not let me have three days off in a row but you are allowed to take two weeks? Arggghhh!!! Not that I am speaking from personal experience or anything...

Juicy Couture Floral Print High Tops

High tops crack me up... who ever thought they would come back? I know that I certainly thought that they would forever live in the madness that was the 80's and 90's. Not so much. It is however interesting to note that you don't see a huge amount of high tops for adults, but for kids they are everywhere. It's like they are trying to get us accustomed to the idea first, before re-introducing them into adult fashion vocabulary. I don't think I am ever going to personally speak high top, but for some reason they work so well for baby shoes! Holiday Shopping Season HAS ARRIVED!!!

Confession: I am a Christmas fanatic. My decorations were up the weekend before Thanksgiving. Last night, I had to turn on the air conditioning in my condo due to the amount of heat all of my lights were generating. That is not a joke. It was 76 in here. I went Black Friday shopping, which was much different this year as many stores opened at midnight. I don't think I have pulled an all-nighter since college. And at the end of this one, there wasn't a final exam to take, but a $19.00 three-crock pot-buffet-thing. Why use just one crock pot when you can use three at once? 

So, in any case, it's here: the most wonderful time of year. The time of love, snow, twinkling lights, overeating, and SHOPPING. Well this certainly is a lot of pink fur, which under normal circumstances would make me run screaming for the hills. But yet again, Juicy Couture is making me feel like a flip-flopper because I actually really like these boots. Granted, the faux fur up around the ankles is a bit Snooki-esque, but the "babies can get away with anything" rule comes into play here, turning these into an instant girly hit. Well, we are now 3 for 3 tonight with posting about pink things. But how can I resist sharing this adorable new outfit from Juicy Couture? It doesn't get more girly than this: pink, bows, ruffles, and sequins. This is an interesting outfit because it could pass for a dress up outfit, yet at the same time it is kind of ballerina-y, making it look like a costume, yet it is also casual enough to bang around on an average day. Maybe it's me; maybe I can't make a solid decision because our coffee maker was broken when I arrived at work this morning so I have felt like half of a human all day. Man... other than the Fairisle print that I am seeing everywhere, I am suddenly noticing that leopard print is having a much stronger presence than usual. I know the whole animal print thing was huge the last couple of years, but apparently it is still going strong! For adults, I never got into it. For babies, it works in a different way. This leopard print puffer jacket from Juicy Couture is an example of making it work. It has naturally colored leopard print and not some sort of horrifying neon purple or green. Today was the Monday of all Mondays. The Monday people have nightmares about. We had work drama that started yesterday (it's always great when the drama starts before the week does) and carried into this morning. It did nothing but rain all day. My boss was being particularly rude ("Did we forget to do this?" "Did we forget to move these numbers?" We = me, in his stupid vernacular). I had to work 40 minutes late due to a lazy coworker. SO, my mind is shot. I am exhausted. Therefore, I chose something nice and easy and fun to write about: a simple and cute outfit from Juicy Couture. Juicy Couture Pink Terry Robe

Ahh... I just had to post about this bathrobe because I had a bit of an embarrassing experience with my bathroom today. My shower drain has been less than effective lately, mainly because of how my long, thick, curly hair tends to fall out and clog it. I called maintenance yesterday because it was draining super slow but when I came home, they had not come to fix it (they always leave a little note). Figures. So it was a very nice night here in the Midwest last night, so I decided to hit the pool one more time before they close it this weekend. To do so, I had to do some, ahem, trimming. Well, lo and behold, the drain stops draining all together. Great. So now I have standing water in my tub with little hairs skirting the top of the water. Pretty. So this morning, I woke up late. I had to shower, thankfully I was short on time so I did so quickly, standing in a tub full of now freezing water, and hair. This whole time, I am under the assumption that maintenance has forgotten about me which was fine, because I did not have time to buy a pool skimmer and get the hairs out of the tub before they came. I was just going to call tomorrow. Well. When I arrived home from work today, I went into the bathroom and was absolutely HORRIFIED to find not only a drained, bone-dry tub, but one that has been completely wiped clean. It looked like it was professionally cleaned. I am never calling maintenance again. They probably think I am a disgusting sasquatch. Okay, I'm sorry, after sharing that I feel like I should be done posting for the evening, before I scare everyone off. Oh Juicy Couture... here you go again with your insanely bold leopard print that I normally would hate, yet when you use it on a baby bag (something leopard print is not typically used on), I think it works. Why do I feel like these are going to sell out relatively quickly? Maybe it has something to do with the fabulousness: gold flitter, pom poms, fur, Juicy Couture. Yeah, that could be it. It's hard to imagine right now, in the middle of this lovely (not so much) heat wave, a time where your baby would need these little boots to keep her feet warm. But it is upon us... Juicy Couture Infant's Faux Fur Coat...

I am trying so hard not to put this into the "Yikes" category, I really am. Faux fur to me is just so... tacky. I have never been a fur fan and have a hard time not judging people that wear excessive amounts of fur. By no means am I a PETA activist; I love animals and do not agree with skinning them for their coats, but not to the point where I post gory pictures on Facebook of what happens to animals at fur farms. I do not wear real fur (or faux fur) and kind of wish it would quietly exit the fashion world. Leave the animals alone. And if you still like the look, get a tacky faux fur jacket like this one. I'm sure that kids would love everything about it; kids love animals and kids love soft textures. And I suppose this Juicy jacket is more tastefully done than others, but the bottom line is the fur.
